What better place to start off one’s new year than Italy, with family, food, and a bottle of Franciacorta?
Covid made many of our travel plans challenging—I was to visit my father in 2020, 2021, and then again in 2022 but things were either complicated or difficult. I wanted to start off the new year with both #AYearinPhotographs and seeing my dad—and a much needed vacation.

A Year in Photographs — Series 2 /
In 2017, I embarked on an adventure of photography—a photograph every day for 365 days. A Year in Photographs (2017) became suddenly apparent to me it was years ago and I had no such great creative project of my own since.
Starting tomorrow, January 1st, 2023, I start a new journey of photography starting in one of the most photogenic places there is, Lucca, Italia. Join me on my journey with my camera wherever it may take me.
